Boston Hannah Chicago has recently welcomed two new interns from the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council in Chicago. We are very happy to have these individuals working with us and look forward to a great end of the summer!
Boston Hannah would like to announce the launch of www.mylocalhealth.com . The site is designed to complement the Midwest Health + Wellness and the Chicago Health + Wellness magazines. it is also designed to give readers information on how other patients rank the hospital systems in their area.
The hospital section also gives a map of the hospital as well as the address and contact information. Site users can use the weight calculators to figure out a healthy weight and how to reach their weight goals in a healthy manner.
The forums are set up to give readers the opportunity to talk about the health and wellness topics that matter to them most with others, and to get different ideas for solutions.
Boston Hannah Chicago has just completed the City of Chicago Green Office Challenge. However, we’re not stopping the green effort just because the challenge is winding down. We will continue our green efforts in and out of our office by recycling, using less energy and motivating our employees to be as green as possible.
We encourage our readers to do the same.
Boston Hannah has implemented timers in order to make sure that energy is not wasted when certain appliances and machines are not being used. The timers will not only decrease expenses for the company but will also decrease the energy that we use as a company.
This week, Doug Haddad, the President of Boston Hannah Chicago, stepped down from his position to pursue other projects. He will still be actively working with the company on several outside projects that we have planned for the future. Boston Hannah Chicago thanks Mr. Haddad for all his hard work and dedicated, and we wish him luck and prosperity in his future endeavors.

College News magazines will be distributed in 500 goody bags at the Bruin Run/Walk at UCLA. This fundraiser will be benefit the Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA. We are very excited to be included in the event.

We will post up-to-date information as well as tools that can be used by our vistiors. Currently, we are building a site that focuses on health and wellness.
